Embodied Flow™ Yoga Teacher Training

November 21st - December 18th 2019

200hr Yoga Teacher Training ~ Foundation Level Embodied Flow

Time to practice, to feel, to contemplate, to steep deep in ancient teachings and revel in now. One month of intimacy with this ancient and evolving art - Yoga. Give your self the gift of a life time. Yes you are ready.

This 200 hour immersion delves into the landscape of yoga energetically, physically and philosophically. Participants study the foundations of Embodied Flow practices and methodology to support them as they expand and develop on their journey of the living art of yoga. We learn to practice, communicate and transmit the depth of information and experience acquired as we cultivate the skills of teaching.  Participants will hone their grace, intuition and power as they develop skill and comfort in their role as a teacher.

The Embodied Flow 200-hour Foundational Yoga Teacher Training provides a comprehensive introduction to the philosophy and methodology of yoga from an Embodied Flow perspective. Topics include asana, embodied anatomy, pranayama, meditation and the foundations of non-dual tantric philosophy. We focus on a process of self-inquiry, self-discovery and transformation, so students may experience their own unique journey in the living art of yoga. This approach prepares graduates to lead others on the path with skill and authenticity.

This 200 hour level training is the first step on the path of Embodied Flow.  It is not a requirement that you want to become a teacher but rather that you bring your curiosity into an intense and immersive step into the ever widening path of yoga. You will come out certified to teach and will be able to register with yoga alliance (Yoga Alliance is a governing body that regulates the professional standards of yoga qualifications)

This is a residential and fully catered training. Costs include vegetarian whole-food breakfast lunch and dinner and shared accommodation (3-4 per room) at Shambhala Retreat Golden Bay. If you prefer a single room please put in a request early to secure a spot, there will be additional costs.

Introducing Embodied Flow™

Through an integrative blend of hatha yoga, somatics, movement meditations, tantric philosophy, and transpersonal psychology, Embodied Flow elicits the experience of stepping into flow as meditation in action.

Embodied Flow™ is school of yoga and movement reconnecting body, mind and spirit while finding tangible pathways between the three.  We use movement, asana, meditation, visualisation, philosophy, psychology, verbal expression, and science as technologies for acquiring a deep sense of strength, ease and connectivity in the human form.  Embodied Flow aims to deliver its practitioners a sense of agency as they discover their own innate capacity to step into a life that is in flow.

It is our aim to thrive in every layer of fabric of our consciousness and to take that awakened mind out into the world.

Continuing study :

Teaching yoga is a life long commitment to the exploration of self. If you love teaching its likely after some time you’ll be ready to undergo more training. With Embodied Flow you can continue to progress through the offerings and steep deeper in the wisdom this practise offers. Traveling along this pathway you can become an Embodied Flow certified teacher if you wish and expand into the Somatic Movement Therapy training also.

It is encouraging to know that this work does not end at the end of your training, there is a fast growing community of teachers and eager students wanting to explore yoga in this way, so you will be supported not only by the teachers and mentors in this field but also by an inspired web of somatic enthusiasts who have experienced practise in this way.
